Network Infrastructure Plan for Don Eufemio F. Eriguel Memorial National High School

Nowadays, educational resources found on the internet opens up new teaching possibilities for educators and learning possibilities in students. The study focused on the development and determination of the level of validity of the network infrastructure plan of the Don Eufemio F. Eriguel Memorial National High School. Descriptive and developmental research methodologies were used to organize the presentation, description and interpretation of the gathered data. For the development of the network infrastructure plan, top-down model approach by Oppenheimer was followed. To assess the network infrastructure plan, validity questionnaire was administered to five validators which included faculty members of College of Computer Science, DMMMSU-SLUC. Using the Top Down Network Model the researchers were able to create and present the physical and logical design, specifications of equipment, cost, and the network security management. The developed network infrastructure plan was found valid with the mean of 4.18.
