Automated Door Security System: A Prototype. Bachelor of Science in Computer Science

Door lock is a typical security system for houses, offices, schools and other establishments. The objective of this study was to develop an automated door security system. Specifically, the researchers aimed to attain the following objectives: to design and build the prototype of the automated door security system, and to determine the level of acceptability of the security system. The researchers used the descriptive research design to look upon the opinion of the respondents and was used to gather the data in determining the level of acceptability of the system through a questionnaire. The developmental type of research design was also employed to build the prototype of the system based on the prototyping model. Different security features was integrated in the Automated Door Security System and was developed based on the phases of the prototyped model. It accumulated an overall weighted mean of 4.39 with descriptive interpretation of strongly acceptable.
