CAPCO: A STUDENT MONITORING ATTENDANCE USING QR-CODE

This study develop a system of San Alberto Magno Academy for Student Monitoring Attendance using QR-Code. Specifically, it aimed to achieve the following objectives: to assess the level of seriousness of the problems encountered in monitoring to develop a mobile the attendance of each student; faculty members and parents; application; and to determine the level of usability of the Mobile application. This study made use of the descriptive-developmental design in accomplishing the study. Relative to this, the researchers employed interview guide questionnaire the Rapid Application Development, whereas, survey questionnaire administered to 53 respondents. The researchers found out that there is a serious problem in the traditional way of checking the attendance; thus a Student Monitoring Attendance was developed using QR-Code employing different tools such as xml file, QR-Code Scanner, php, Java Script , CSS, Html and adobe phone gap software on its GUI embedding QR-codes to capture data. The developed application was regarded as highly usable with 4.13 mean rating.
