Mobile Educational App in Empowerment Technology for Grade 12 Students of Don Eufemio F. Eriguel Memorial National High School

Keywords: educational mobile application usability.

This study aimed to design and develop a mobile application that can serve as an educational application in Empowerment Technology subject of the students in Senior High for Don Eufemio F. Eriguel Memorial National High School. The researchers have undergone different stages to identify, determine and confirm the feasibility of the study. The descriptive and developmental research methods were used in the study. Likert Scale, interviews and survey questionnaires were some of the tools used to help the researchers in developing the study. Mobile Development Life Cycle model was used by the researchers in conceptualizing and developing the application. Android Studio was used by the researchers as their Integrated Development Environment to create the user interface and functionality of the app. In determining the level of usability of the developed application, an adapted survey questionnaire from the study of Mabutas (2017) was used and the result shows that the application is usable with an average weighted mean of 4.23.
