Online Police Report on Missing and Wanted Persons in the Province of La Union

The purpose of this research paper is to develop a web-based system for the general public awareness in tracing the investigation status of missing and wanted persons. Specifically, it sought to attain the following objectives: To determine functional and non-functional requirements of the proposed system; to develop a web-based Online Police Report on Missing and Wanted Persons in the Province of La Union; and to determine the usability of the developed system. In gathering data, the researchers used descriptive and developmental research methods; wherein interview and floating of questionnaire was done, and adopted SDLC mode. The findings of the study are: the web application has its functional and non- functional requirements such as different modules for posts and reports, web security and maintenance, update posts, feedbacks, and generation of report.; the Online Police Report on Missing and Wanted Persons in the Province of La Union was developed through the utilization of the SDLC of Mohamed Sami (2012); and, the developed Online Police Report on Missing and Wanted Persons in the Province of La Union was evaluated to be very useful.
