Arduino-Based Search Drone

Keywords: Search Operation GPS GSM Wi-Fi FPV Camera Mobile Application

Natural disaster is inevitable and unpredictable. There are some instances that the casualty cannot be found yet it can be prevented through advancement of technology and using search drones. The main objective of this study is to design and build an Arduino-Based Search Drone. Specifically, the study answered the following objectives: (1) to develop an Arduino-Based Search Drone using Rapid Application Development (RAD) Model; and (2) to determine the level of usability of the Arduino-Based Search Drone. The Arduino-Based Search Drone has features such as GPS/GSM Module for the location, Wi-Fi FPV Camera for live streaming and Mobile Application that can check/monitor the condition of the area. The Arduino-Based Search Drone was developed according to the phases of the RAD Model. The level of usability of the study resulted to a descriptive rating of Moderately Agree with the interpretation of Moderate Usability.
