Game-Based Learning App in Mathematics for Grade Seven Students of Agoo Montessori Learning School Center Inc.

Keywords: Descriptive and developmental research design and create functional and non-functional mobile application game usability

This study aimed to develop an educational mobile application game to help the Grade Seven students on their studies especially in the field of Mathematics. The goals of this study considered these objectives: to determine the level of difficulty in the different areas of Mathematics subject encountered by the grade 8 students of AMLSC Inc., to determine the functional and non-functional requirements of the GBLAM, to design and code the GBLAM, and to determine the usability of the game. Descriptive and developmental research method were used in the study with survey questionnaires as data gathering instrument. The Grade 8 students as the responders to determine the level of difficulty and the Grade Seven students as the main client. The researchers found that the topic Statistics and Probability was the most difficult area of Mathematics, and that the developed application was rated as usable for the students.
