MOBILE CONTROLLED SOLAR POWERED GRASS CUTTER

Keywords: Mobile Control Solar Power Usability

Almost everything from our era is now automated and could be controlled using mobile phone. The study aimed to design and develop a Mobile Controlled Solar Powered Grass Cutter. Specifically, to identify the features and functionalities; to design and code; to test and evaluate, and to determine the level of usability of Mobile Controlled Solar Powered Grass Cutter in terms of usefulness, satisfaction, ease of use and ease of learning. The study used Mobile Application Development Life Cycle and created prototype The developed mobile application has obstacle detection, battery monitor, can switch on/off and wheel speed adjustment features. A schematic diagram and story board of mobile application was constructed and coded using Arduino and MIT App Inventor. The hardware and software passed the test cases conducted. The mobile controlled solar powered grass cutter is very much usable in terms of usefulness, ease of use, ease of learning and satisfaction.
