Records Management System of Municipal Agriculture, Sto. Tomas, La Union

The main objective of this study was to develop a Records Management System for the Municipal Agriculture of Sto. Tomas, La Union that would help in keeping, filing, categorizing and maintaining information. Specifically, the study sought to achieve the following objectives (1) to determine the functional and non-functional requirements through an interview guide questionnaire; (2) to design and develop a Records Management System using RAD Model; and (3) to evaluate the system using the ISO 9126 Software Quality Criteria. The researchers utilized the descriptive and developmental research to properly organize the presentation of data. Through the conduct of interview in the office of Municipal Agriculture the researchers were able to identify the functional requirements such as add, view, update, delete, search and generate reports. On the other hand, the non-functional requirements determined includes efficiency, reliability, accuracy, availability, and security. Using RAD model, the researchers were able to develop the Records Management System by passing its phases. The evaluation resulted with grand mean of 4.58 which means that the developed system is usable to its intended user.
