eRMS: Electronic Record Management System for Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office of Tubao, La Union

Record Management has undergone significant change in many years. The study aimed to build the eRMS: Electronic Record Management System for Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) of Tubao, La Union. The researchers used the descriptive and developmental research methods. Specifically, it aimed to: (1) assess the extent of compliance of the existing record management system of MSWDO based on ISO 15489 and RA 9470, and it was found out that out of 46 practices, only 3 were fully practiced, 11 were partially practiced and 32 were not. (2) to develop the proposed eRMS applying the RAD model with HTML5, Bootstrap, JQuery, Php and My SQL that were used as the programming languages; and (3) to evaluate the usability of the developed system using ISO 25010 and had a result of 4.34 as its weighted mean, which means that the developed system was Very Much Usable.
